About

Building secure systems and strong teams.

I'm a Technical Lead Manager at General Motors in Austin, Texas. Over 13+ years at GM I've grown from software developer to staff engineer in Product Cybersecurity, and now I lead the engineering teams behind it. My work sits where large-scale distributed systems meet security: vehicle unlock and verification, cryptographic signing, and the APIs that tie it all together.

Before GM I spent twenty years freelancing — fixing computers, wiring networks and building websites for local businesses around Houston. That's where I learned that good technology is about helping people.

New gadgets, side projects and, lately, a lot of AI tools. I like trying things out.

Movies

Big releases, good thrillers and plenty of rewatches.

Family comes first. The best part of my day is time with them.

Mentoring engineers, answering questions, or helping a friend with a project. Helping people is what I enjoy most.
